A quick alert that Professor Mike Sharples who is the Academic Lead at FutureLearn will be leading the next UCS OWLET on 6 February 2014.

introduction to the OWLETs

OWLETs (Open Webinars on Learning and Enhancing Teaching) are are open to anyone interested in learning and teaching in Higher Education, at UCS and beyond. 

A guest presenter opens each live webinar, to share perspectives on a chosen theme linked to their interests, experience and expertise. Discussion follows in the webinar, with opportunity for all participants to join in, ask questions, as well as to share comments and ideas. OWLETS are informal and collaborative opportunities to share and discuss experiences, innovations and ideas connected to learning in HE.
